Tantrum Theatre in collaboration with Newcastle L!vesites will play host to a treasure hunt that will spread wide across inner city Newcastle. Throughout the hunt, various clues will be brought to life in wacky and wonderful ways – as you would expect from Newcastle’s gutsiest theatre company!

Participants of all ages are encouraged to take part in this family friendly event, so pack your water bottle, sun hat or wet weather gear, for two hours of wild discovery and fun.

“We are providing the audience with an opportunity to rediscover Newcastle’s city centre in a way that they may not have done before.” said Tantrum’s Artistic Director Brendan O’Connell. “There is a wealth of history and so many places of interest in the centre of the city that you can walk to, or catch the free bus to, that we wanted to activate these areas and bring a new perspective to them – it will be loads of fun for everyone!”

On registration at Tantrum’s shop front on Hunter Street (opposite Civic Station), teams will receive their treasure maps and from there embark on a fun and exciting adventure though the city, with the final destination revealed on the day.

The winning team will receive a treasure chest full of prizes!

Whether you’re after the treasure or just something exciting to do, come along for some fun and put your navigation skills to the test!
